Spent the weekend creating art instead of looking at the news, and then when I did look at the news, it felt even more important than ever to create art. Art that speaks to people, to art that takes a stand, art that shows love and compassion, are that reminds us to be human, art that highlights what we have to lose, art that highlights what we have to celebrate. I've been looking at wildfire haze for weeks, paired with the proverbial blaze of hatred. It came out in ink on paper. Whatever your art is, I hope you make some of it this coming week. I hope that you speak out against bigotry, racism, violence and hatred. I hope that you create instead of consume. I hope that you show radical love. .
