Tis the season for coffee outside! Oh wait, it’s always the season for that… regardless, I'm excited to be taking part in a giveaway with @arttoolkit @al_humphreys and @trailboundsketchesdevoted to microadventures.
A couple of big projects finally coming to an end right now. Things that have been on my mind for several months, things that have at times felt like a struggle, things that I keep questioning and questioning. As they come to a close I find myself thinking “oh, this is the direction that feels right.” That is all to say: the end is the beginning of something else.
This is your brain on nature. For this month’s Creative Fuel Series column on @bigcartel I wrote about the intersection of creativity and nature. The main takeaway? We need nature. So if you’re feeling creative block this week, get outside.
New month, new prompts in the 2022 Words for Creating and Being series. (A day late, I know!)
A little process shot from something bigger I am working on. It’s funny to start with a big piece of paper and then just remove pieces until it feels fragile and delicate. Yet somehow stronger and “flowier” all at the same time. I’m sure there’s some lesson there. 🖤💙

Hey! I got a latte recently and the barista made a heart just like the one in your photo. So cool! I’ve had a lotta lattes but never one with a heart :))
