Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial

A site-specific, permanent art installation design for the Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial, created to commemorate the forcible removal of the hundreds of Japanese Americans on Bainbridge Island during World War II. The installation includes a series of metal sculptures and cutouts, as well as design for a sound box at the entry to create both a visual and an audible experience for visitors.

Columbia Gorge Triptych

A commission for Ninebark in the Columbia Gorge in Camas, WA. This triptych was created to honor the history and modern-day use of the river, and will hang in the leasing office of the Ninebark community building. The triptych celebrates native flora and fauna and indigenous and modern use of the waterway and combines papercut illustration and watercolor.

Mountainfilm 2022 Festival Poster

A papercut and watercolor designed for Mountainfilm’s 2022 festival. Created to honor the ridgeline above Telluride, Colorado as well as the San Miguel River.

Joy of Cooking

Papercuts created for the 2019 edition of the iconic cookbook Joy of Cooking. Each chapter in the cookbook features a papercut, a nod to the original edition which featured paper silhouettes made by Marion Rombauer.

Woodward Canyon Artist’s Series #28

A papercut and watercolor illustration created for Woodward Canyon’s Artist Series #28. This ongoing series features a different local Pacific Northwest artist on the wine label of this popular wine. The artwork highlights two native flowers that grow in the Woodward Canyon vineyards.
